Rajiv Gandhi College has made an excellent effort in the emerging field of Biological science ie Biotechnology, Microbiology and Biochemistry. We have provided labs that are fully fledged with the advanced facilities and technologies. Our Hi-tech Biotechnology, Microbiology and Biochemistry labs are so designed that it could help to develop research skill, improve observation and data interpretation of various experimental practical. All advanced instruments like PCR, Cooling Centrifuge, Elisa Reader, DNA Electrophoresis, Protein Electrophoresis, Western Blotting, Laminar Air Flow, Water Purification System, CO2 Incubator, Light Microscopes, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Electronic Balances,  pH meter etc. Updated library along with enormous computer facility with internet provides strong infrastructure to our department of life science

The college has an excellent library containing around thousands of books related different topics. It is one of the largest in this field within Vindhya region and is used by students and experts. Subscriptions are also made to various magazines. The library is updated continuously to improve its quality.

Housed on the academic block with spacious reading room, the library is well stocked with more than thousands text books apart from the reference material and literature on companies and electronic database. College has a specialized library, which is continuously updated to expose the students to modern trends and concepts of management and technology.

Besides the books, the library also subscribes to over 15 professional journals and business magazines. The latest editions of publications and handbooks on various subjects of management constitute its reference resources while back-volumes of journals and business news papers, annual reports of selected companies and ministries of the Government of India and documentation on selected topics offer a rich academic reservoir of information to the scholars.
