Msc(IT)
is a highly sophisticated high-end course, which creates technology professionals. There are the students who enjoy top-notch positions in the software firms. They are the ones who take decisions on the design aspects of database and data traffic that is used by laymen. They play major role in making the software user-friendly.

These graduates are introduced to software engineering aspects. This helps them in assisting quality control. Latest concepts like ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning, which is used to bind the entire enterprise, is a closed web of information system of efficient decision-making in an organisation form a part of the vast curricula.

This course was earlier known as the MIT course. The UGC, while approving the MIT degree for the earlier years, stipulated that to avoid the proliferation of degrees, the course should be renamed M.Sc.(IT). The course has accordingly been renamed. Most courses on computers tend to teach similar things. The advantage of this course over the MCA is that it is a shorter course, lasting two years only. Nevertheless, the graduating students are on par or better than MCA students.

M.Sc.(IT) of MCRP University provides specialisation in different streams of advanced computer technologies.

Eligibility
The criteria for admission in M.Sc.(IT) course is  B.Sc. in any discipline / BCA /  any graduate with PGDCA from a recognised university or
