Conference hall/Seminar Halls

Conference hall adjacent to Principal’s chamber is equipped with overhead projector, slide projector, LCD projector, amplifiers etc. for conducting conferences and short-term programmes. Apart from seminar halls in individual departments, carrier guidance and placement cell maintains a seminar hall in the administrative block.

Software Development Cell

The College has a software development cell. This is a full time accessible dedicated computer lab having high class computer. Students of various courses are eligible to work on these systems after passing a test. This will improve their technical skill and further help them in seeking better job.

 Computer Lab

Computer labs of RGI are well equipped with the latest hardware and software platform, having over 400 computers in network, which includes servers with Windows 2003, Linux and Windows 2000, IIS Server, Tomcat Apache Server, FTP Server, Network with Core 2 duo/Dual Core nodes. Students are given individual attention with one PC per student. College has WI-FI zone where all the e-resources are freely available.

The RGI has its own server inside the college premises for portal hosting. In satna, two buildings situated 6KM away from city buildings are connected through wireless connectivity (50 MBPS).

Bio-science Labs

Rajiv Gandhi Group has 6 biotechnology (including 2 research laboratories). The biotechnology laboratories are specialized and equipped to conduct advanced practicals and research work. Some specialized laboratories include: Plant Biotechnology, Plant Tissue Culture, Novel Molecule Synthesis, Downstream Processing, Animal Cell Culture, New Drug Discovery & Innovation, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Aqua Biotechnology, Genomics, Environmental Biotechnology, Enzymology, Bioremediation, Nanobiotechnology, Molecular Virology, Chemical Biology & Biosensor, Human Genetics, Recombinant DNA Technology, Chemical Biology, Cell Line Metabolism, Algal Biotechnology etc. The laboratories are equipped with CO2 Incubator, -86o C Refrigerator, Elisa readers, Ultracentrifuge, Tissue sonicator, Tissue homogenizer, Peltier regulated UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Gradient Thermal Cyclers, Type I Water Systems, Inverted Phase Contrast Microscope, Lyophilizer, PCR, Ice Flaking Machine, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer (single and double beam), Refrigerated Centrifuge, B.O.D. incubator, Metabolic Shakers, Electrophoresis systems (vertical and horizontal), Shaker Water Baths, Media Filtration systems, Plant Growth Chambers, Fermenter, Muffle Furnace, Protein Electrophoresis, Laminar Flow Hood, pH meter, Westorn Blotting, Light Microscopes.

Internet

The college has broadband Internet connections with connectivity in each computer lab, faculty room & library administration.  Students are encouraged to explore and learn through the Net in a disciplined manner. Campus is Wi-fi enabled.

Standby Power

To ensure adequate power supply, 100 KVA generator systems have been installed in the colleges as stand by. It enables the students to access computer lab, LCD, OHP facilities etc. without any hindrances.

Library

At Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institution, we maintain a well stocked library that includes text books/e-books, national/international periodicals/ journals, national/ international business news papers and other study materials for all management courses that we offer. In addition to these the library also has a good collection of books on general topics, travelogues and fiction novels for student recreation. We believe in providing our students with the latest information and academic literature in order to boost their thinking process. Our library facilitates easy access of knowledge, which helps in equipping our students with awareness of the latest global developments. Our varied collection of books ensures students a balanced overview of different subjects. As a result, students possess the necessary knowledge to tackle the tasks the corporate world later entrusts them with.  

The new digital state of the art library is equipped with over about 12,000+ books on computer, media & different subjects and subscribes to a number of periodicals, national/state newspapers, magazines and journals, books on self-development & motivation besides an extensive array of reference material and books on competitive exams.

Class Rooms

The environment in which a student learns is an important contributing factor to healthy learning. Therefore we have specially designed classrooms to suit the needs of the present-day student. We have spacious and brightly lit classrooms equipped with all the modern teaching amenities like LCD projectors, audio systems, computers with wireless internet access, whiteboard etc. We ensure the use of latest technologies for teaching so that students experience a truly enriching learning process. The college is Wi-Fi enabled with 2 MBPS dedicated leased line so that the students can access the wireless internet using their laptops. Thus, they can avail of the latest information on the World Wide Web to relate their classroom knowledge with the real world. This also provides them with an opportunity for finer research on the subjects they prefer.

The staff of RGI group comprises of highly qualified (Ph.D. / M.Phil. having Master Degree in different field like Computer/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Pharmacy/ Commerce/Management / Journalism etc.) teaching faculties , instructors and eminent personalities as visiting faculties from various institute. Active interaction and lively discussions between the students and faculty bring about a vivacious atmosphere. Project guides are appointed from the staff to guide the students towards successful completion of their minor projects. The main live projects are covered through the selected companies/organization. The staff student relationship is such that personal attention is given to one and all.
