Hostel

There is a girl's hostel for those students who do not reside in Satna are provided accommodation in the Hostel. Accommodation assistance to boys is also provided.

Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institutions,Satna(M.P.) accommodation near college premises for out station students, if requested. It can be arranged in a hostel or private sharing rooms with other students or as a paying guest. We understand that moving out of home for educational purposes can sometimes get very taxing; therefore we are here to help students find the right accommodation and settle down into their new lifestyle. The fear of searching for new accommodation should not discourage the students from studying at our Institute. With our vast database of contacts, we can help students find suitable accommodation conducive to studying.

Scholarships & Awards

Meritocracy is the norm at the Institute and students constantly compete with each other to excel in academics as well as curricular, co-curricular activities and sports.

The institute has introduced scholarships and awards scheme from session 2008-09 to promote academics and talent.

1.         Each year, the best all-rounder of the Institute is honoured with The "College Ratna" getting Rs. 10,000 & certificate.

            The College Ratna is awarded to the deserving students of final year of UG/PG courses on the basis of academic and co-curricular activities.

2.         Rs. 3,000 for Topper students of the university (Ist Position) in all the faculties.

           These scholarships are in addition to the Govt. Scholarships. Details about the scholarships / awards  can be obtained from the office. In the year 2009-10,

           Rs. 76 lakhs is sanctioned by State government as scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students.

Sports

The Institute organises sports and adventure activities regularly and competitions are held prior to the annual functions. Sporting activities like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Table tennis etc. facilities are at the Institute. For detail information, students are advised to contact the sport officer of the college.

Conveyance facility is available for students.

Placement & Career Guidance Cell

Extension services by way of career guidance and placement of students is provided by this cell. It also provides career counselling to students and helps them to evaluate different career options. It aids students in exploring new opportunities and channelling their interests according to their aptitude. The cell conducts workshops on personality development and communication skills, psychological tests, group discussions etc. to enable students to assess their strengths and work on their weaknesses. Training programmes and guest lectures are also organised to further enhance their personality. The major concerns where the students of the college are working are as follows.
